3.2.4. Opening the start and searched compounds

The formula of the starting compounds that has been saved with Save start can be displayed and edited by selecting Open start under File.

3.2.5. Opening a rule from the preprepared list

To display a rule already prepared on the server select Open preprepared rule from File. A list of names of rules will appear from which one can be chosen. The chosen rule can now be edited, if necessary, and added to the list built for the computation with Add rule to list.

3.2.6. Opening a rule from the list

To display and edit a rule from the list built with Add rule to list given its number, choose Open rule from list under File. A panel appears where the number of the rule can be entered. The rules are numbered in the list beginning with 0.

3.2.7. Opening a step in the synthesis

If the computation successfully finds a formula with the searched compounds every step of the synthesis can be displayed by selecting Open step in derivation from the File menu. A panel appears where the number of the step can be entered. In the Web version a synthesis is overwritten by the next one and is probably lost after a new Save start.
